Was There Anyone Who Said Cake?

onsdag 30 augusti 2017

Hello there!
I have a birthday card to share today, where I have used yet another amazing Katzelkraft stamp. And in this case I think this card is to a man.
I started by coloring up the image with my Copics and then cut it out by hand. Next, I created the background using brown Distress inks and a Post card stamp from Inkido. Then I die-cut a rectangular frame in black and white, and just like the image I adhered it whith foam tape for dimension. The sentiment stamp is from K-designs and I also used an old Fancy Pants "Swagger" patterned paper. Not so much bling on this, just a little Glossy Accents on the necklace.
Thanks for stopping by, hope you have a great day!

Thinking Of You!

söndag 27 augusti 2017

Hello there crafters!
The days just fly away, it's already Sunday ... again! It only feels like a couple of days ago:) For today´s card I used ARTplorations "Bloom Silhouettes" stencil together with some Distress inks. I´m thinking about a evening scene.
I splashed some water over and wiped away. Next, I stamped the Inkido sentiment and heat embossed it in white. I finished with a few tiny pearls and Glossy Accents for added detail.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

A Card Filled With Warm Christmas Hugs

måndag 21 augusti 2017

Hi there crafters!
Here comes my 4th card for Muse:ChristmasVisions challenge, and it is the card that I've been struggling most with since the only penguin stamp I own is this digi and I didn´t know how to use it...this is how my little family turned out.

I started with a couple of stenciles to the background, the MFT "Snowfall" and Studio 490 "Dots&Stripes Borders" together with Distress inks. Next, I cut and run a piece of glitter paper thru the We R Memory Keepers "Gemstone" embossing folder and adhered it. I colored up the penguins with my Copics and added some Glossy Accents to the scarves and 3D snow to the hoods. I cut them out by hand adhered them foam tape for dimension. The sentiment is from Svenska Textstämplar.
Okay, I think that´s about it. I´ve seen so many lovely penguin cards over at Muse:ChristmasVisions now but I hope you like this too.
Hugs, Birgit

Hi there!
Today I´m joining along with Addicted to Stamps and More where they have a photo inspiration challenge. I needed a card for my grandson and decided to give it a try, this is what came out. Maybe not so childish but I hope he likes the colors :)

I started my project by stamping and white heat embossing the panel with the STAMPlorations "Party Mates" stamp set, then I sponged it with some different Distress inks. I also stamped another package/gift that I then colored with my Copics and cut out by hand. Then, I die cut the word congratulations with a Gummiapan die and for the letters I used Craft Emotions dies. In addition, I cut the same out of black foam that I then attached to the back for more dimension. I also adhered the gift with foam tape and finished of by adding a few bling stones/sequins.
Okay that´s all for me. Whishing everyone a nice weekend!

In Case Of Emergency ... Follow The Direction Of The Arrow

tisdag 15 augusti 2017

Hello there!
I´m popping in here to share a card for CAS(E) this Sketch. And for the sake of unusualness there is no sentiment on the front, instead the images may speak for themselves.
I love the stamps from Katzelkraft! The cat was colored up with watercolors and the mouse from "Les rats des villes" stamp set with Copic pens. I also used a MFT "On the Diagonal" stencil for the edge. I finished my card with a few pearls and some Glossy Accents.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

You´re A Friend Like No Onre Elf

lördag 12 augusti 2017

Hello and welcome!
I´m back again playing in the Muse:ChristmasVisions challenge with my third card. This time I have tried to take me on the card with the wreath and Elf theme, I hope you like it.
I started by stamping the Penny Black "Poinsettia wreath" and then colored it up with watercolors. I also splattered some black over the image. Next, I cut the Memory Box "Frostyville Wreath" out of white cardstock and adhered it. For the sentiment and the elf I used the stamp set "Santa's Elfs" from My Favorite Things, and now I instead took out my Copic pens for coloring. I finished of by adding some Glossy Accents and Diamond/Platinum Stickles.
Thank you for stopping by today, I hope you have a nice weekend!

Merry Christmas, This Year Again.....

onsdag 9 augusti 2017

Hi there crafters!
I have another card Muse:ChristmasVision´s monthly challenge and this time I have gone all in on the gingerbread as you can see:)

I have used a Reprint stencil along with Vintage Photo Distress Ink and then embossing paste that absorbs a portion of the underlying color, and also gives the dimension so it really looks like gingerbread lying on a plate. I drew the glaze with a white Uni Posca pen and the sentiment is from Inkido.

Okay, I think that´s all for today, thanks for stopping by!

A Deer Surprise

söndag 6 augusti 2017

Hello everyone!
I´m back with another card made for Muse:ChristmasVisions. This month, the challenge is not just one card but four ... if you wish to make them all. I hope you see which one of them is my inspiration this time.
I used  the "Forrest6" stencil from Clearscraps for the background, distress inks and a reindeer die from Gummiapan for the head. I cut it twice in black and gold cardstock, placed them over each other and adhered them with foam tape for dimension. The stripes was made with Studio 490 Wendy Vecchi "Dots&Stripes Border" stencil and for the sentiment I used a Scrapfabriken stamp. It was a long time since I used something out of my charm stash, so it's extra fun that I found one that fit so well here.
As always thanks so much for stopping by!

She Wanted To Go Where She Had Never Been

torsdag 3 augusti 2017

Hello there!
Today I have a card for Less is More and their "pierce your project" challenge, I could not help but face that challenge.
First of all, I die-cut the panel using one of the dies from Spellbinders Nestabilities "Gold Squares One". Next, I stamped the Katzelkraft "les jungles" image and colored it up with my Copics and cut it out by hand. I cut a score in the panel and passed the image through the score. I used old Red Rubber Stamps for the sentiment and then adhered it with an eyelet. I decided that the panel needed a black backing of the card base.
Okay, that´s all for today. Thanks for stopping by!
Hugs, Birgit
